This year I'm one of two room moms for HUT's class. It's fun, not too terribly much work, and a great way for me to get to know the teachers, other parents, etc. I feel like part of my job, while staying home, is to be as active as I can be in my kids' school.

I saw this really cute Instagram from Little Baby Garvin for a s'mores gift that I decided to try as well.


I used a wide mouth mason jar and filled it with six graham halves, three jumbo marshmallows and three small Hershey bars. I wrapped a bit of tulle around the top and designed a cute label for the top and gifted them to HUT's teachers on the day of our Halloween party.

I also used up our bananas and made this delicious bread...



I usually make the recommended recipe, but purchase mini bread tins to bake them in. Since the bread was a bit of an afterthought, I didn't have anything to wrap them it, so extra large ziplocks came to the rescue. It made enough for both teachers, plus three extra tins which I gifted to others.
